Building traffic takes time.
What's fascinating is studying sites with really high volume traffic....that continue to grow by leaps and bounds year after year. As you can imagine so does their sales volume each year.
What comes to mind is....
Where were all of these new unique visitors and sales back in the start up phase?
How could a site have 15,000....30,000 or 50,000 visitors per month, when in the beginning there were very few?
It all comes down to ranking in search engines, giving away free content, optimizing pay per click, having articles in syndication etc.....all of which take time.
