I think the model of lightworking and darkworking is backwards in many ways.

I have been reading a lot of Nietzche of late, and the difference between good and bad and the difference between good and evil is one of his main themes.

Early civilizations started out with a concept of Good and bad, that was based on an aristocratic view of the world. Good was what was strong and beautiful, advantagous. Bad was what was weak and sickly, unlucky, things that lead to misfortune.

An example of this form of morality would be that of the ancient Greeks and the Bramin of India, which was the priestly caste. The brahmnins created the religion of Hinduism.

The concept of Good and Evil is a Judeo Christian concept not an Hindu/Buddhist concept. Its a form of morality created by the lower castes of society. The oppressed people of the Roman empire, which were the first Christians.

Good, in the servant morality, are the qualities associated with being a servant, being a member of this vast mediocre herd that huddles together for survival against the strong, powerful and beautiful.

Good are the qualities of a lamb.

Evil are the qualities associated with the ruling class. Being strong, imperious, bold, audacious, proud, aggressive.

So its backwards to the original concept of good and bad associated with the aristocracies.

As far as breathing in as being associated with darkness and breathing out associated with light.

I think that is backwards too. Its backwards if you associate darkness with being powerful anyway. Breathing out is aggressive active, masculine, assertive. Breathing in is passive, yeilding.

Breathing out is Yang, breathing in is Yin. Yin and Yang is not analgous to either concepts of Good and evil or good and bad.

But just think about this. Breathing out is accomplished by the diaphram, associated with the power chakra and personal power. The power chakra sets you apart from others.

So if you, like me, associated, independance and assertivness, aggression and achieving personal power with the darkside, you had it backwards. At least by Steve's model because all these things are associated with exhaling.
