This is one form of what is also commonly called a "sigil" in some circles of community. Note that the word also has a few meanings depending on what and where you are reading - so just be aware of this if you are searching online for more info.

Spiritual energy manifests in many forms, including the form of sexual energy. There is no danger of unhealthy association with sex and your intended 'unrelated' manifestation as long as your approach is one of healthy and affirming mind/body/spirit intention. If you are with a partner always be mindful and respectful of them. And one does not have to shout thoughts out loud but can keep intentions clearly in mind with this particular process.

It can be a very powerful tool, this type of sigil - and many people use it. There also seem to be other terms/terminology used when referring to this exact same thing.

There are an infinite number of ways to move/work with the life force. This is only one of those many ways.
