Second i learned how to OBE from a great friend of mine who also teeches alot of people. We see it from a differant viewpoint and from personal expierience its easy to teach someone how to AP(OBE) since its only mental meditation that needed. The Mind is a powerfull tool that not always fully understood.
And me and my friends base our assumptions of AP(OBE) on test that we have done in controlled circamstances and have came to the conclusion that the OBE was all in our heads not on the outside or the astral plane |

I am sorry if I came off sounding rude or harsh.
I used to want to believe that it was "all in my head" and for a while I thought that it might actually be the case. That is until I had the experience of visiting places and witnessing events in real-time that I later found out to be true places and events.
I have always kept a journal and immediately record my experiences when I return.
I have had the experience of observing my friends in different situations as they were happening. I would ask them about it later and they would be astonished and ask me how I knew or say something like,
"I have never told anyone about that!"
For me, that is all that I need for proof that it isn't just a mental experience.
It is true that the ultimate potential of the human mind is greatly underestimated.
Who knows? Maybe it is simply a matter of semantics. Regardless of whether conscious astral projection is an event that occurs within the mind or somewhere without, it is still without question a remarkable experience.
It is also an ability that can require a great deal of mental discipline for some people to master.
It took me several months of diligent meditation and steel minded determination to develop the skill of conscious astral projection and it can take other people years of practice.
Then there are those who require little to no effort at all to achieve it.
Also it is very hard to carry out an accurate controlled experiment with something that is so affected by a person's own predisposed beliefs.
I have never believed in demons, vampires, or evil entities of any kind and, as such, have never encountered any of these personally in all of my years of experience with astral projection. I have had encounters with other beings such as guides that have helped me to understand my experience a bit better.
I have found that if I verbally ask for "clarity" during conscious astral projection, I will see the energy behind the illusions that are built up around me due to my beliefs and expectations. I always try to go into the experience with as little predisposition and expectations as possible.
We are all unique and our experiences reflect that.
