If I were offered 3x my current salary I would seriously considered it, simply because I could work that new job for one year, and then take two years off while maintaining the same lifestyle I have today throughout those 3 years.
I could use those additional two years off to launch a new business, improve as a human being, travel, etc. For me time is more precious than money, so that's something to consider.
