They totally should test you and see what your brain looks like during an obe.
Hopefully in the future there is a more cooperative exchange between the spiritual and scientific communities... studies like this from scientific authorities are used to try to disprove spiritual phenomenon for a generally skeptical reading public... but apparently there's a lot of gray area that they don't mention.
