Default Suggestion on how to improve personal effectiveness

Hello. I've been doing martial arts on the side in order to improve my fitness. It seems they have different grades for people so that they have an idea how good they are at that particular style. I wonder if it was possible to do the same sort of thing for PD. I mean I would like to be a black belt in success, who wouldn't? But getting there requires the hard work through all the challenges ahead. I hope there is a way of mapping the journey to healthy human development, and at least identifying 'grades of success'.

Would any of you like to share a snippet of your journey to success? You can write about whatever you like. Some ideas include writing about your challenges, how you overcame them, and how you knew when you ascended to the next level of awareness/success. What was/were the lesson(s) you learned, or the skill(s) you had mastered to make your transition to the next level.
