what are your thoughts |
Well not my thoughts entirely but... interestingly enough when I was reading Hawkins' book "I" your words are almost exactly like his.
I never thought of evolution & creation being the same thing. I was at one time a big evolution believer being involved in scientific research & all. Anyways, Hawkins writes that they are the same thing.. being that all that manifests is a result of what is already potentially able to occur coming into existence when conditions are most prime. (sorry if I'm butchering his ideas)
& yes like you've observed & I've observed.. it seems like we're all heading in one general direction... & we are getting "better".. & more able to comprehend ourselves & this world. Very interesting thoughts stroodle.
For me personally, I do feel like everything has a purpose. The cancer that occurs to a cancer patient. The car accident that happens on the way to work... sometimes it's difficult to short-term see what is occurring but the long-term almost every single time I've been able to have an "aha!" moment where I go..wow, that happened & it was beneficial. Gosh I hope this makes sense.
