Firstly, well done for taking the first step and creating a website. I had a quick look and can see potential, but there are definately some areas you can work on.

About Me - even before people look at your content, they want to get a sense of who you are. Don't want to mention your surname? Fine, but why point that out to people? Open yourself up to people so that they can try and connect with you. People's perception of you will affect how they read your articles.

Google adsense - to be honest I find the large block you are using distracting. Maybe consider a smaller advert at this stage.

Content - some interesting content, but it didn't really "grip" me. Maybe consider some images for your posts, or highlighting key points, or shorter paragraphs.
