Thanks Erin, this post was revived at the right time for me. I actually wanted to pop in and say "Yes!" to the bit where you explained feeling all the suffering of the world all at once. I did something similar once, I opened up far and wide to absorb not just the suffering, but all the emotions everywhere. I didn't last too long before I was totally overwhelmed.
