It's pretty simple to prove if you want to.
I believe I am real. Do you believe I'm real?
If you don't, why does your subconscious create a "me" that believes I'm real?
If you do, perhaps it's your belief that makes me real. But it's simpler to think I'd be real anyway. Plenty of examples around that can illustrate this point. You mom believes she's real.
I prefer to see it as "there are subjective aspects of reality." These can be changed. What's your monthly income? It's a matter of perspective, depending how hard you work, what you invest in, and how lucky you are in a given month. Things like that are a healthy application of the SR aspect. Acting like a loony because people supposedly aren't real is not.
