I haven t had cheese or milk for a week now.
I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian, who loves cheese ( born and raised in Normandy, France) and caffe lattes, so the idea of going without milk or cheese was like
I do not eat a lot of cheese or milk daily. The only milk I get is from my mostly daily latte, and lately, I have been eating one slice of cheese, 2 slices maximum per day.
I decided to try a one week challenge: no alcohol, no milk for one week. My goal was to do the Steve thing : test my discipline, see if I could do it.The positive outcome I was foreseeing was that: I might shed more weight that way.
I do eat eggs ( egg whites mostly, organic) to build muscle.
I have also included exercise in my program and have been active ( cardio( 5/6 days a week) and 20 to 40 mns a day of Callanetics ( isometric exercises)).
I have been noticing more energy( even though I can t sleep earlier than 2 am/ sometimes 3 am and over) and better breathing. It s like my nasal passages are cleared. I am also not hungry, even though I eat less than a 1000 calories per day and lose at least 300 and up to 450 through physical exercise. It s not the first time I diet and exercise, and I have never felt that way before.
My isometric exercises include great neck lengthening exercises: might it be a change of posture or could it be the elimination of dairy.
Anyone wants to share positive aspect of going off milk products? Thanks.
