Well, here's my understanding.. Seth and Abraham-Hicks are the source material for LOA and its core message sure enough it cannot be traced to them.. but I find versions of it like "The Secret" the sect messages of what I think of as a religion..
Most everything Abraham has said seems to ring true.. and it's hard to even find fallacy in anything.. though the same could be said for a religion
There is a simple way to do a test for yourself.. apparently channeling isn't hard or as impossible as it's made out to be.. (meaning we all are the same.. no one is special) so if you really wanted to you could channel your own entity/guide or your inner self to prove/disprove what they say..
But as another commenter said.. how can you believe that your thoughts reflect reality.. and not buy-in to the fact that someone can channel an entity?
Seth/Abraham-Hicks just puts the last seal or last questions left to rest in the religion that is mostly called "New Age" by my known terminology.. (though bare in mind.. "New Age" also has how crystals help us.. and astrology/witchcraft in the book section

)
So you asked for honest opinions right..
Honestly, if there is a core of knowledge to the religion that is "New Age" then the teachings seem to come from these people.. or try hearing some of the Seth material.. it will rack your brain or make you say that's the biggest load of ♥♥♥♥♥ I ever heard.. (I can't tell you which it is either.. honestly)
Honestly, like everyone else says.. it's hard to believe that Esther can make this stuff up.. or that can always answer almost perfectly every time.. but there are things, albeit small things that don't feel cocher.. but it's not enough to say hoax.. or even say it's wrong..
I would say experiment for yourself.. and make your own determinations.. my experiments for me.. only conclude.. "Need's more study/input; cannot be proved wrong yet"
