I have no easy answers, just a word of "Me, too." I've been aware of my inferiority complex from middle school, as well, and I've tried a number of strategies to deal with it with varying success. However, only last week, I was treated to the incredible revelation that I love myself. It was a wonderful discovery, and I don't seem to have lapsed in the past week. Yet.

I would recommend drowning it in work. Nothing dull, but something you believe in. Volunteering and community service is a great way to achieve that. I zeroed in on the idea that, "I might suck, but despite that, what I'm doing is a positive impact, no matter how small, and it matters." Give of yourself, share yourself with the world, and make it better just because you're there.

It helps. A lot.
