When I first bought Ask and It is Given, I also had problems with the channeled aspect. But certain circumstances in my life brought me to a place where that was no longer an issue. After that, I was able to be open to what Abraham says.
Since then, I have (and still am) subscribed to the weekly CDs. I have also attended two Abraham workshops. I agree with Erin - if you can, go to see them or listen to them on tape or CD. And then make up your mind from there.
Abraham is very adamant that we are our own best source of guidance, that we don't need them to tell us anything, that everything we want to know can come from our own alignment. I like that message very much.

You'll find that what they say will either resonate with you, or it won't. And there's nothing wrong with either result.
