Hi Kenny, if you investigate further back in this thread you will encounter much colourful debate, discussion and argument from both points of view on this topic.
Personally, I share your skepticism and for me its a question of - am I willing to suspend my disbelief long enough in order to apply the material. And the answer is no. Marketing of that nature nauseates me. My search is for truth - it would seem a poor way of pursuing the truth by consuming material that is based on an untruth.
Where it probably succeeds best is in the repackaging of old ideas in a new, intriguing way that makes the information accessible to an audience that is willing to believe what you, me and rather a lot of other people find quite unlikely.
