Planning your life around your self-imposed disabilities is inherently unfulfilling. I would bet you actually take a certain amount of pride in your inability to deal with authority and your ability to get things done on your own. If this is true, then that pride is what is holding your life back in those sectors. It's dysfunction that sticks around by looking like a virtue, so instead of fighting to be rid of it you actually fight to keep it. |
