Try sleeping untill 9:30 instead of 9 am. Since each sleep cycle is roughly 90 minutes so if you use multiples of 90 minutes its easier to wake up.

Also there's a blog post from steve where he explains how he gets up in the morning, his method is a great way to wake up.
I don't know what the title wasm perhaps somebody else can help out?
