This also seems to be true. I view the thought-form as sort of like the "machine" of the ethereal world. In our 3rd density we build robots and machines and various types of devices. As we re-discover our psychic abilities, we learn how to create thought forms instead.
In a certain way, we ARE thought forms, and the entire creation is as well. We were created and given free will by some higher consciousness, and he was created by an even higher consciousness, and so on, in the same way that we create trinkets such as computers and shelter and art and music.
Our bodies were essentially crafted by the combined influences of the earth and evolution via natural selection, with unspecified input from higher beings so that we might have the faculties neccessary to do the work we incarnated here for.
It's all very metaphorical IMO and open ended. I basically think all the creation stories - from evolution to genesis - are telling of the same thing in different words using different metaphors and mechanics. If you start looking for symmetry you find that it is everywhere.
