Default Gauging Caloric burn rate

One thing that may help is to spend several sessions on a treadmill or other cardio machine with a calorie burn counter function [On a treadmill, it's the kind that asks you to input your weight].

You can get a feel for how hard you are working at any point in time by looking at the 'calories per minute' function.

This should give you a very rough estimate of how many calories you're burning per minute in your every day life by feeling how hard your body is working at any given time.

The longer you work out and more you get to know your body, the better you'll be at doing this.

Of course, there is no really good way to test how accurate you are, but it's something.
