If you look at orders of scale in nature, it is always between 5 and 7.
This means everything in nature consists of 5 to 7 "parts." Take a tree, any tree. Count how many orders of scale you see. There's the trunk which then breaks off into branches, and into smaller branches and smaller, and then twigs. It's always between 5 and 7. The same is true for rivers. There's the river, which then breaks off into smaller tributaries and then streams. But there's always between 5 and 7 orders of scale.
