I have been thinking about this subject a lot lately and then today I read this...it's like it's my own words...
I experience this quite a bit. I will be thinking of something out of the blue and then within minutes a commercial ad will use the exact phrase, song, or whatever it is at that moment. It can be anything though not just tv or the radio.
Today I was doing work on the computer and just couldn't concentrate. I was thinking how sleepy I was and getting caught up in what I thought was my own internal chatter, maybe I should go to bed early...now that I'm older I can fall asleep really easy, then I started thinking about someone I know who said he was going to try some new sleep meds his doctor perscribed...I'm kind of against the whole using drugs to put you to sleep... thinking that kind of thing.
Anyway, a guy walks in the room and one of the other women in the room knew him and they started talking...she was telling him how she had just started taking Ambien and it's been making her tired even during the day...this was within minutes of me thinking about the same thing.
I think it happens to a lot of people because usually when you ask them if it's ever happened to them, they're like YES!
I do think you were picking up on something!
