Dcaldwell, I don't have an analysis for you but I have some thoughts. My mother had a dream much like this about my father but it was about 30 years down the road, both dreams flopping like yours did with slightly different scenario's. She just had the dream maybe 2 months ago or so and it has reoccurred since then. Some say our lives are pre-destined. I say that our lives are more like a bunch of fork paths and with each decision, the fork paths even though pre-destined will either be a path you follow or do not follow. Maybe your dream is saying there is 2 different ways this could pan out. Maybe you are being shown this because you have the ability to assist in assuring that your wife stays alive and healthy.
If you are feeling at all like my mother feels after the dream, she feels a bit confused and mixed with a bit of fear not knowing why she has dreamt it or fearful for my father.

I will tell you what I told my mother to do. I told her to pay attention to the dream and keep it in prayer that she will be lead to do what is needed of her to assure a happy ending. In your case; I would take this dream as a glimpse and a nudge to get your wife to another doctor. Get some more opinions and stay on the alert around her right now. She needs you and you will do just fine.
