What I like to do is dress up in women's clothing, however I'm still at a bit of a beginner's stage with this because I still live with my mom and I don't want her to find out because I'll be judged very harshly.
I've always wanted to be more masculine because that would make me more attractive to the opposite sex. What that means for me is be more fearless and assertive, especially in social situations. That would make me happier with being who I am. |
Are you sure? Masculinity is attractive to some women but for other women femininity is what turns you on. I think what will both attract women - some women, but you can never attract them all - and make you happier would be for you to find out what you want to be and express, and just be that.

I'd be afraid to express my feminine side socially because I'd worry people would think I was gay, or ridiculous, or women wouldn't be attracted to me.

Yeah, society sucks. Choose your friends well because most people ARE judgemental. I mean the big "mass" of TV-brainwashed, schooled, football-distracted wage-slaves who look to each other for what to think. These people tend not to like authenticity. You need to find a safer group to be able to be what you really want to be, though of course you'll also want to get over your internal fears

So as you see, I'm in a bit of a contradiction. I think it's deviant or bad for me as a guy to express my feminine side, but it's still something I want to do and I think would be a great thing for anyone to do. It would help us to accept ourselves more for who we are- because after all, that is who we are, this mix of masculine and feminine! Men should feel comfortable with expressing their girly side, women their manly side.

Yeah, a conflict between social conditioning and what you really feel / want to be. Find a place where you can be accepted as you are, demand acceptance as you are, and accept yourself as you are first of all.
