Agreed....maintaining a relationship or a marriage is hard enough as it is, and if there's no "chemistry"--a large part of which is physical attraction--you're already starting behind the 8 ball. I'm not saying that you should make physical attractiveness your highest priority--especially if you're looking for a long term relationship. Still, to paraphrase the previous poster, there's a word for someone of the opposite sex whom you like as a person but aren't attracted to: friend.
If you're not attracted to your girlfriend you're not only lying to yourself and accepting a "compromise" in such an important area of your life is unfair to both you and her.
