One thought I invite you to consider is that spirituality itself doesn't require us to believe anything. Instead, it encourages us to notice and promote depth in our own experiences. What we perceive and experience becomes our chosen authority rather than what other people have told us.
No matter what your belief system, its worth pondering not whether evidence exists to back up your beliefs, but how much evidence you think you really need. Remind yourself different people wrote and edited different versions of religious and spiritual writings and humans aren't infallible.
