I intend to launch the mac-daddy equine web site offering a meeting place for horse people to come and sell their horses, get good advice, find neat downloadable content that is USEFUL and hang out and BS each other, which is what horse people like doing best.
And it is so. |
Good luck with your equine project sounds like fun! I'm glad you liked "in good faith and in good humor"
My intention now after some time away is to get back into my intentions.
Sometimes in an emergency situation, it seems helpful to do something totally different and be really attentive to the people around you, pulling the best out of yourself and others with or without the ritual of intention manifestation as prominent. That has been my recent experience, as my whole family came together for 5 weeks when my mother was suddenly diagnosed with late stage metastatic cancer. Everyone was at their very best, the love, sensitivity, and support between us was palpable consistently and we did the best I think we could for my mother who passed away in I hope complete comfort, it looked that way.
My brother's family is very heavily fundamentalist Christian. Although I was raised in the Christian church and have a strong inner spirituality which strongly includes Christianity but also includes other religions and belief systems while completely leaving out any notions of dominant religions, I don't subscribe to the same rituals that they do, church, praying out loud at the table, etc., although I respect all they do for what it does for them. At the same time, my own spirituality has embraced intention manifestation as a very workable component within a belief system which fits it beautifully. I did not feel it appropriate to try to get anyone to practice intentions and they did not in any way push their rituals towards me. Instead we found common ways to talk about and share the deepest parts of all of us in language which pulled the strongest out of each of us and let us share it.
Now my intention is to start again with daily intention practice and see what happens.
I think my work with intentions gave me strength for the past 5 weeks which I may or may not have had before.
All best,
Ati
