For future reference, there's a hyperlink option at the top of the post editor -- all you have to do is click there and paste the URL of the page you want to link to. That would make it significantly easier for people to reference the Pavlina post you're talking about.

For those who care, here's the link

Anyway, a lot of them apply in exactly the same way as for lightworkers:

1. Truth
You can't do what's best for you if you're lying to yourself. You can't improve your career unless you make an honest assessment of your current career, your skills and talents, the company you work for, etc. You can't improve your financial situation if you're pretending that $10,000 in debt doesn't exist. Whether you wish to improve yourself or the world, you have to start with honesty.

2. Courage
Once you know the truth, you have to face it and do something about it. Self-improvement isn't always easy. Each major improvement requires a little death of the part of you that needs to go. You have to say to yourself, "I am disorganized. And now I am no longer disorganized. I will kill of the part of me that wants to procrastinate doing dishes, and I will become an entirely new person."

3. Compassion
As Steve discussed today, you'll eventually realise that you'll get farther ahead in life if you're nice to people, and compassion helps with that. But even at low levels, you have to be compassionate towards yourself. Saying, "You are a ^&#(@ing moron! What kind of idiot would make a mistake like that! Now how are you ever going to make that up you blundering, stupid...." will only lower your consciousness.

4. Desire
Again, you can't improve yourself if you don't care. It doesn't matter if you want to change the world or just your financial situation -- desire is the first step.

5. Attention
No one ever got a Black Belt in Karate, a million dollar business, or political office by mistake. In order to be truthful, you have to pay attention to what's going on. Ignorance can be just as bad as deceit in preventing you from reaching your goals.

6. Knowledge
What goals do you have? What do you want your life to be? What do you want to come into your life? And once you've answered those questions, what do you need to do to get what you want? Ignorance is unhelpful, whether it's because you weren't paying attention to what's going on around you, or because you couldn't be bothered to look up what you need.

7. Reason
Which is more likely to make you powerful: deciding on a goal and then planning out a route to it? Or deciding on a goal and then playing basketball? Whether your goal is self- or other-oriented, you need to approach things logically to reach it.

8. Conscious people
I don't really know whether you'd have to hang around with only Darkworkers, or if higher-conscious people of either polarity would help. (I suspect the latter). But mentors are always helpful in teaching you how to get what you want.

9. Energy
You can't be mighty and powerful if you're sick and wasting away.

10. Intention
As with everything else, intending to become more dark-polarized makes it so.

Really, except for compassion, all of those are equally darkworkery or more darkworkery than lightworkery, just as Steve has them written. It's almost more of a question of how to apply them to the light polarity.
