Also its funny you mention Waking Life (which is an awesome movie) because Ethan Hawke and Julie Delphy, the stars of Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, are in Waking Life together. |
I loved those movies! It was such a heartwarming surprise to see Ethan Hawke and Julie Delphy together again in Waking Life. If I remember correctly, the movies were directed by the same person (something Linklater?).
That said, a few of you have weird movies that make you feel better :P Quite a few anime fans here too! I loved the earlier Miyazaki films. Kiki's Delivery Service and Nausica of the Valley of Wind.
And I can't believe no-one's mentioned
Jerry MacGuire yet! An inspirational story of what happens when one man decides to follow his heart for once, gets fired for it, drops to rock-bottom and has to climb back, all the while doing his best to remain true to his convictions.
