I think you need to define "negative entity." To me it would be something like a demon. But a demon would WANT to get you dependent on the LoA so you can forget how to use hard work to satisfy your needs. Then after you are dependent on the LoA, he'll stop supporting it and you'll end up on the street corner confused how you got there.

Maybe a POSITIVE entity is PROTECTING you from the LoA.
