Default online degree

Hello, What is everyones opinion on online degrees?

To what I understand there are a lot of fraud online degrees out there.

I am considering taking Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics at Embry Riddle University.

This school has a great reputation for there traditional education program. One of the best in aviation schools around. So I know that this isisn't a fraud program

I am currently taking my flight training to be a pilot and recieving college credits at a great school the Moncton Flight College in Eastern Canada.. A great flight school with a great reputation.

This online program would allow me to start time building my flight hours while continuing studying part time towards a degree... The great thing is that flight training is credited towards aviation degrees.

How would employers look at an online degree from a school with a good reputation? am I better off actually going to the school and taking it the traditional way? (but then I won't be able to fly so no time building which is important)

Any hiring experts out there know any solid information on this?
