God is infinite consciousness (and much more besides!). In his goodness, he has created each of us with individual consciousness, free will and will power. They are sovereign gifts from God which no-one can take away from you. We are just chips off the same block. Rest assured that you will never lose your individuality and merge with some 'oneness'. Every living being in the universe has it's own individual consciousness and is on a never-ending journey of self discovery. We may share aspects of our consciousnesses with others as we wish - in joyful events with loved ones, etc (and even in this communication), but you have yours and I have mine! |
