Jesus was a mystic who was operating at the highest level of consciousness possible on Earth, 1000 or Enlightenment on the Hawkins scale. In other words, he was experiencing a purely non-linear, non-dualistic, subjective world. A few of his closest students were also operating from this mystical paradigm (which begins at 500 or Love on the Hawkins scale), but the general population was not. Most people were operating out of the dualistic, linear, objective paradigm falling anywhere between 0 Shame- 499 Reason on the Hawkins scale. This caused three problems. The first is that all language is linear and dualistic so in order for Jesus to explain what he was talking about he used metaphors and parables (like Steve does in some of his blogs) that pointed to the non-linear, non-dualistic experience. These metaphors and parables were often misunderstood by the general population especially as they were passed down over time. The second problem was that Jesus’ teachings were not written down at the time they occurred. Instead they were passed down through word of mouth and recorded almost 300 years later (like one of us trying to explain what Steve means in some of his blogs to our children when we don't really get it ourselves and then over time having our great-great-grandchildren write it all down in 2307) so the mystical, non-linear, non-dual interpretation became very distorted and often times was lost all together. Third, to make matters even worse, often times the teachings were twisted by those in power in order to manipulate the general population (like using Steve's blog on polarization to threaten our children to go to bed otherwise they will end up on the dark side). It was those people in power who decided what was and was not included in the Bible. So basically, over time the teachings of Jesus became totally distorted.

Many of us were raised with this distorted interpretation and we felt serious dissonance within our hearts so we threw out Christianity all together including Jesus. We either became atheist, agnostic or found our way to the mystical, Eastern religions such as Buddhism because there was something here that resonated with the core of who we are even though we couldn't really explain it. As we evolved spirituality our LOC was raised to the point that we are starting to look back at the teachings of Jesus in a new light. We see a lot of similarities between Christianity, the other mystical traditions and other religions and we are beginning to go hmmmmmmmm?

So if you want to truly understand the teachings of Jesus you must first look for the purest teachings you can find. Then you must interpret them from a mystical perspective. When you do so all of the pieces of the puzzle will begin to fall into place because you find that all of the great spiritual masters were teaching the same core concepts simply using different language and metaphors. What a relief! Plus, it even aligns which quantum physics so spirituality and science become one. No offense to our egos but we are not the first ones that have had these revelations. The good news is that the hard work has already been done for you. There are a number of places where you can study the mystical interpretations of Christianity which are coming together as the New Thought Movement. There are a handful of churches you can attend including Unity, Religious Science, Divine Science and a few others. In addition, you can participate in The Course in Miracles as well as read a number of great books that will help you out including The Message That Comes From Everywhere.

This new understanding provides an intellignet path of hope, unity and peace that is needed in our world today.
