I think its safe to say that "enslavement" is relative to a person's perspective. Do the vast majority of people feel like they're being enslaved by having jobs? Or do they feel empowered by the work they do? Most of the people I know hate what they do but do it anyway.
These people need a lot more than a perspective shift to free themselves. |
How many business owners have you talked to lately? Most of them also complain, not about their boss now (who is perfect of course) but about the econony, democrats, republicans, Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Bush, Tim Geithner, their crappy customers, their unappreciative kids, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes, etc etc. But of course this is all justified because we are the incredible entitled class called business owners.
True freedom IS a shift in mentality. If you feel enslaved as an employee, and you only move location, you're still a slave in your head.
And btw, there is no real freedom. Just being human is slavery in itself. You will always be a slave in one form or another. Stop running away from your destiny
