You may be putting too much pressure on yourself to remember and so consequently you don't remember. Ease off - there will always be times when we don't remember. Do you reread your dreams and contemplate them or try to bring them back at other times in the day to see how good your memory is. Little activities like that help your recall. I sat down one afternoon to see if I could recall anything as I hadn't on waking. After a few minutes I did recall a part of a dream that I then remembered as having dreamt the night before. It's kind of exciting to know you can do that.
