I've seen so many posts from people that equate college/university as some sort of professional trade school. It makes me cringe when I hear "I'm not going to college to just work for someone else." Man, take off the blinders. If you're into personal development, college is a source of abundance. Where else can you so easily meet and speak with people who are engaged and passionate about a broad spectrum of things? Architecture, music, theater, dance, literature, mathematics, history, anatomy, physics, philosophy, politics, religion mythology, painting, sculpture, photography, and that's the tip of the iceberg. Where else can you learn from so many perspectives? It's a shopping mall for the mind. Not to mention that the social aspect is unsurpassed. Go there for personal enrichment. I have never heard anyone say, "I wish I never went to college." What I often hear is, "My four years in college were the best years of my life."

Then, when you graduate, if you're lucky you'll realize the depth of your curiosity, and it will drive you to great things.
