Ted the Mighty is actually a 12 year old girl named Sally who perpetually lives in 1944. Upon finding a rip in the spacetime continuum, she became immortal through temporal disengagement. While the world outside moved on, she was still the same old Sally. Feeling quite dissatisfied with her perpetual identity in the post modern rush to recreate ourselves, she underwent a sex change, changed her name to Ted and took up bodybuilding and personal development.
