I don't think it's the meat - I don't feel bloated after eating a piece of meat.
But I would feel bloated after a pizza, too, especially a frozen one. Thats why I usually only eat half a pizza at most.
I'd say it's the carbohydrates and the pure amout of food knocking you out. Pizza (at least around here) does not contain much meat anyway.
I'd recommend: Eat slower, eat less, eat more often, so you won't get so hungry you wolf more food down than you need in one session.
After going hungry for some time it's tough not to go on a eating binge. And in an eating binge you probably always eat more than you need, and overeating makes you sleepy.
(about frozen food, I remember somewhere that frozen food does not contain and 'chi' anymore or something, so maybe this adds to the effect, too? I dunno any details what exactly this was about, though.)
Love you!
