I like to watch a show called "Dragon's Den". The idea is that there are five wealthy investors and Canadian entrepreneurs come in and pitch their ideas. Generally, good ideas are recognized and often times get their requested investment. Sometimes people come in with ridiculous ideas (or insane projections) and leave with nothing.
As I was watching it today, three people came in with a scale that only showed if you'd lost or gained weight. I thought, "Not a bad idea... but it'd be even more awesome if it also gave you your actual weight". Sure enough, the Dragons started asking about that.
Well guess what.... turns out these people designed this scale after watching (reading?) "The Secret". They didn't want to put in the actual weight function because it would mess with the quantum theory! They down-right refused!
They didn't get a dime.
