aww, thanks supertom you're easy on the soul too

OP, i wasn't talking about the tablets. i was talking about the actual individuated consciousness known as Thoth. so, my point was, whether the Thoth tablets (Emerald tablets, is that what you were referring to?) are real or not, my understanding is that the being known as Thoth would support your theory.

i wouldn't be so worried about the skeptics. you have a right to your opinion and your theories, and i'm not sure why a true skeptic would bother hanging out in the psychic/paranormal forum. there are a lot of open-minded individuals here

also, i would say we can relate ANYTHING to sound, it's all vibration! yet another reason your theory is not so bizarre.

i didn't know what you said about smell, that's interesting. and life could be the same thing as spiritual connection - life=spirit and all of that... so i don't know if it would need to be one or the other (and it was my understanding that the ankh represents *eternal* life, not just life)... i have also heard, the Christian cross is said to cut your energy body, in this way the ankh is preferable because it is not a penetrating symbol, whereas the Christian one is. according to the person who told me this, when a church official crosses you (would probably be referring to the Catholic church), it actually somehow damages your energy body. of course this is not permanent, it can be restored fairly easily but we'd have to choose this with our free will. interesting food for thought regardless of one's beliefs.

okay, sorry if the jumping around bothers ya.. just got off work and i'm naturally a bit of a spaz
