The REALLY rich people I've met dress like car mechanics, and live in crappy houses with the garden unkempt so they look poor! One of them is worth millions but he won't even fork out for a main meal if you take him out to dinner...he'll order the cheapest toasted sandwich on the menu. When his daughter got married though, he spent like a million dollars just on the reception!
I don't hate him though, except he's really racist and I don't like that about him.
I don't hate rich people. I used to live that life, and I know my father worked really hard to earn it, and he taught us alot about the value of money, so I'm really grateful to him for that. People who are worth squillions who didn't work for it, but just inherited it...they are a different kettle of fish, and whilst I've never met any of these people and can't really say whether I like them or not, I hate that they spend all their squillions on obscenely ridiculous things when they could be making a difference to peoples lives if they just pulled their heads out of their arses. It's good for the soul to give. Of course they don't HAVE to share it, but it wouldn't be a scratch on the surface for them if they did...but they won't!

I'm now quite well off, and consider myself rich. I don't however flaunt it or waste my money. I also try to be generous and help those around me and those in need.
Besides not flaunting my money, I actually more try to conceal it, and don't tell everyone around me how much money I have. I even know some people around me that have expressed hatred for rich people! |
