Update - I've been busy with extra work this week, which is something I've been dreaming of for a while. Very cool. I'm noticing lots of strange little syncronicities that don't seem to point me in any direction, but it could be I'm just not smart enough to make the connection. Example: On Saturday, I decided to cut through the park to check out the nubile female joggers. As I entered the park, I clicked on the radio and that old song "Saturday in the Park" came on. Meaningless to me, but still kind of cool.
Today brought 3 little miracles back to back to back. First, I went to help a buddy move a stove, and he offered to buy an old nasty trailer of mine for $1000. He probably could've had it if he just asked, but who am I to turn down generosity?
On the way home, I got a call from a guy I dealt with a lot last year. I had tried to partner him up with an account that would make him a bunch of money. He was going to pay me $4000 if the deal went through. After about 8 months went by, I gave up. Well he called today asking me which corporation to make the $4k check out to!! Awesome.
Right after I hung up, my phone rung again. A retired union steward friend of mine is doing consultation work for some manufacturer up north. I mentioned some other product that my partner is a distributor for (long story - it's a corrosion inhibitor/penetrant) to him to see if they might be interested. He's been talking to senior management, and they'd like to try it. If they start using the product, it could be huge passive revenue. It's premature, but I feel like God's returning my phone calls now! lol
