If you're talking cardiovascular endurance, then running is very hard to beat.
Cycling is possible but long-distance cycling has been known to cause damage to your family jewels.
Swimming is also possible but generally people who aren't good swimmers enter anaerobic mode too soon (mainly because they don't know how to breathe properly, not that they're swimming too hard) and so they can't swim continuously long enough to get a proper cardiovascular workout.
Quit coffee.
Running works for me in eliminating stress, nervous anxiety too ---> better sleep.
