The funny thing is that since my partner and I stopped watching the tv (news, etc etc), you don't miss it one bit. We only watch dvds now that we actually want to see and it's great. It leaves time to do other things which are way more valuable. Like walking on the beach together and looking at sealions who either wobble around or lie on the sand, snoring. (Like I said, very inspiring
)
I enjoy spending more time with my partner now in the evenings and there's no danger anymore of falling in the 'rut stage thing' either. It's great!
