BC stands for British Columbia, Canada, where im from! And yes, I grew up on the side of a mountain, about a 20 minute walk from the ocean, so the answer is I prefer both.
If you've ever been to Whistler, a world renowned mountain here in BC, one of their mottoes is "Sea to Sky country", you start off driving along the ocean, along an inlet, with an awesome view, and an hour and a half later your at Whistler, one of the best wintersport mountains in the world. I would recommend it to anyone. I think I even have some pictures from the last time I was up there, I'll try and post them later.
