Some people have suffered greatly under the influence of someone else who truly loved them. Love does not always cause the good and respectful treatment of others. One may argue that the person causing the negativity to another doesn't really love that person... but who's to say how they really feel? From their perspective, perhaps they really do love them in their own mind?
