Since this is the case, how is it that we justify our intentions trumping over another's intentions, even if we feel ours is for the best interests of the girls?
If you feel they are the best intentions....they are. Other people's intentions are irrelevant, because only yours, as long as you believe they are the best, are actually the best.
Your only problem is doubt, because you believe that a natural mother still has some kind of right almost regardless of how she treats the kids.
