Why not just selfpublish them on lulu.com? They publish on demand, so there is no reason to have a single cent tied up in the books. All you have to do is to setup the account and everytime somebody buy a book you get some money. Given that you already have written the book there is no additional cost to you, so to quote one of Steves podcasts - it is basically free money (and you keep the copyright too).

Alternatively you could just upload the book to scribd.com if you dont want anything to do with it anymore - then you would recieve a dollar everytime somebody bought a printed edition, but everyone could read it without paying.

While the choice is 100% yours, I dont think there is any reason to let a good and evidently popular book out of print, since this prevent anybody from benefitting from it and you from making some money.
