I agree about Vitale's book its an article expanded into a book but just fluffed with self promotion. It's insulting, and he' s not even a good writer.
regarding hicks - yeah - i listened to their CD/mp3 introduction - he asked 'her' it, whatever 'Abraham what CD would you recommend for people just starting out'
I just rolled my eyes at that point. Wow Abraham channeling from the other side to recommend which CDs to buy....
I think they, she, it, whatever, have some good points in their writing but it's not my style.
I guess that's why there are so many different authors - but perhaps in a crowded field, some people, like Ray are just trying to dress themselves up to current trends.
As i said, if he just used his natural style and didn't try to talk about thinks he really doesn't know a lot about , or would study those things first, I'd take him more seriously, though he's still not my cup of tea.
