I believe there are soul mates and I also believe that not all soul mates are romantic partners. I have had close relationships that meet the criteria as I understand it where we became friends and the connection became apparent very quickly.
I also believe that soul mates do not always remain attached at the hip so to speak but that even though separated by time and distance the connection remains.
I also believe we are not limited to one soul mate in life.
